Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all digital products sold on trycreatorengine.com

Because our products are digital content delivered by instant download (not physical goods), this policy differs from a standard return policy. No physical item is shipped, so nothing needs to be "returned". Instead, refunds work as described below.


1. Our 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to be genuinely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase, for any reason.

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at contact.andreisfarloaga@gmail.com from the email address used for the purchase.
  2. Include your order number and, optionally, a short note on what didn't work for you (this helps us improve, but is not required for the refund).

If your request is received within 7 days of purchase, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund to your account.

This guarantee is a voluntary commercial guarantee offered by CreatorEngine. It does not limit or replace any rights you have under applicable law (see Sections 3 and 4 below). Each customer may use this guarantee once per product.

2. EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal — How It Applies to Digital Content

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed in Romania by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014), consumers normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (such as our downloadable PDF products), the law provides an exception: the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery of the digital content has begun, provided that you:

  • gave your prior express consent to the delivery beginning immediately, and
  • acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

By completing a purchase in our Store, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the content has been delivered (i.e., once the download link has been made available to you).

In practice, this does not leave you unprotected: our voluntary 7-day money-back guarantee (Section 1) applies regardless, and your legal conformity rights (Section 3) always remain intact.

If you purchase a product but do not access or download it, and you contact us within 14 days of purchase to withdraw, we will honor the withdrawal and issue a full refund.

3. Defective or Non-Conforming Digital Content (Your Legal Rights)

Under EU and Romanian law on the supply of digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770, transposed in Romania by OUG no. 141/2021), you are entitled to digital content that:

  • matches its description in our Store,
  • is fit for its normal purpose, and
  • is accessible and usable as described (e.g., the file opens correctly and is complete).

If the digital content you receive is defective, corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible, or materially different from its description, contact us at contact.andreisfarloaga@gmail.com. We will, at no cost to you:

  1. first, bring the content into conformity (e.g., provide a working replacement file or restore your download access), or
  2. if that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, provide a proportionate price reduction or a full refund.

These legal rights apply independently of, and in addition to, our 7-day money-back guarantee, and are not limited in time by it.

4. Lost or Accidentally Deleted Files

Each purchase includes two (2) download attempts so that you have a backup if you delete the file by mistake. If you have used both downloads and still need access, contact us at contact.andreisfarloaga@gmail.com with your order number — we will do our best to restore your access. Loss of a downloaded file does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund.

5. Situations Where We May Decline a Refund

We reserve the right to decline a refund request where there are reasonable indications of abuse, including:

  • refund requests made after the 7-day guarantee period, where no conformity issue exists;
  • repeated purchase-and-refund of the same product;
  • evidence that the product has been redistributed, resold, or shared in violation of the license terms in our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under Section 3.

6. How Refunds Are Paid

All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, account, or payment method. Currency conversion differences or bank fees applied by your payment provider are outside our control.
